Sparkling Cosmos

 
 

INGREDIENTS FOR A SINGLE COCKTAIL

  • 1 orange, halved and sliced

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • 1 oz vodka

  • 1/2 oz triple sec

  • 1/4 oz rose's lime

  • 3 oz cranberry juice

  • 1 oz sparkling white wine

INGREDIENTS FOR PITCHER WITH TEN SERVINGS

  • 10 oz vodka

  • 5 oz triple sec

  • 2.5 oz rose's lime

  • 30 oz cranberry juice

  • 1 bottle sparkling white wine

  • 1 orange, halved and sliced

DIRECTIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL DRINK

  1. In a rocks glass, pour 1/2 tsp sugar over an orange slice and muddle (crush until juices are released, you can use a muddler or the back of a spoon).

  2. Pour in vodka, triple sec, lime, and cranberry juice into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into the rocks glass over the muddled orange.

  3. Top with 1 oz sparkling wine for a bubbly effect and sparkling New Year's Eve drink!

DIRECTIONS FOR PITCHER WITH TEN SERVINGS

  1. Add vodka, triple sec, lime, and cranberry juice to a pitcher and stir. Leave it in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to get cold, or until ready to serve. Muddle an orange (directions above) in each glass and pour out cocktail into each glass over the orange, making sure to leave space at the top for the wine. Pour 1 oz sparkling wine into each glass for a bubbly New Year's Eve drink.
